Four Delhi University students detained for chasing SMRITI IRANI

Four students from Delhi University who were drunk have followed the car of Indian Union minister Smriti Irani in Delhi (Lutyens),. Police said they  have detained them.


The Union minister Smriti Irani have called police around 5:15 PM saying some youth are following her , a senior police officer said.

Acting on the complaint, police have taken immediate action and intercepted the car, in which the four youths were travelling. The students have been detained at chankayapuri Police station Delhi and they were age group of 18-19 years.

Then they have gone through medical examination, which confirmed the presence of alcohol.

After interrogation  they said that, they were returning from a friend’s birthday party from south Delhi and having fun roaming in that area.

Legal action is being taken against all four students.
