The Hyderabad Metro Rail (HMR) authorities have decided to give a unique numbering to metro pillars and link them with global positioning system (GPS).
With this people can easily identify the locations.
This initiative has been taken to make Hyderabad a tourist friendly city with convenience for everyone to easily identify different locations on Metro Rail corridors.
It will be unique numbering of Metro pillars will be alpha-numeric with corridor I (Miyapur-LB Nagar) designated as A, corridor II (JBS-Falaknuma) designated as B and corridor III (Nagole-Raidurg) designated as C and so on.
